On the morning of October 14, Wang Wanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, presided over a forum for foreign trade enterprises in the city. Zeng Weiqun, deputy director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, Mao Zhidong, deputy director of the Municipal Finance Bureau, and representatives of ten foreign trade companies including Qianhai Guoxin, Jiangling Import & Export, Meichen Communications, and Lin En Tea Industry attended the meeting.

At the meeting, business representatives conducted interactive exchanges on the current foreign trade situation, the import and export situation of the company, and the pain points and blockages encountered in the process of business operations and services. Everyone agrees that although the situation of foreign trade exports is severe due to the impact of the epidemic, with the active assistance of governments at all levels, foreign trade companies in our city are actively responding to difficulties and challenges, seeking opportunities from crises, and making progress amidst difficulties.

After listening to the speeches of entrepreneur representatives, Wang Wanzheng pointed out that all relevant departments of our city should fully support enterprises to grasp the opportunities of current market changes and help enterprises become bigger and stronger. It is necessary to reduce administrative procedures, promote the facilitation of import and export customs clearance, and formulate relevant assistance policies to help enterprises alleviate their difficulties and speed up the implementation of preferential policies to further enhance their sense of gain.
